I was gonna pull on the Black Swan banner but, I think I might hold off for Jing Yuan.

Any ideas on when Fu Xuan might cycle back around?

Probably a couple patches after 2.0, they seem to be coming in almost the same order as their original releases.

With that said, unless you really just like Jing Yuan (which I do), I would probably skip him. He's not aged super well when compared to more recent damage dealers (Dan, Jingliu, Argenti all kinda eat his lunch in AoE situations). There are some setups where he can do pretty well with Topaz (when you can get Lightning Lord to just nuke a single target that Numby has marked), but most of the time other characters just have an easier time doing the same or better damage.

If you want him, you're going to want his light cone. If you have Kafka I'd probably skip him and get either Black Swan or Acheron. I can put him as my support character if you want to play around with one before you decide to go for him if you want. Mine's pretty well built.

Part of it is that I really do like the character. I've played around with him on support a few times. Plus he seems to do well with Ruan Mei.

The other part is the characters on his banner. While it'd be nice to get some more dupes of Guinafen, knowing my luck I'm going to get a bunch of Tingyun eidolons and I already have her at E4. Much like I hoped to get Hook eidolons when going for Kafka and now I have E5 Nat.

So do I need Jing Yuan? Nah. But as you can see I'm probably hurting for a solid preservation character beyond the starters, hence why I'm interested in Fu Xuan (dream of mono-quantum team). No real interests in Avent-Urine.

Also on principle I'm putting a boycott on Acheron because my E2 Raiden in Genshin felt underwhelming for so long until I got Nahida. And because Inazuma trauma.

Welp, got Black Swan on my first 10 pull, which was only ~20 pulls after my last 5* (E1 Ruan Mei).

Now a tough choice: go for E1, go for her light cone, or just stay E0 and use Eyes of Prey. I don't have a ton of jades saved up and I definitely want at east Acheron but probably also Sparkle.

That light cone is far and away her best option to a high degree, and if you pair her with Kafka? Brilliant.

I personally went for the Light Cone cause I was within 30 pulls of pity on it and I dont really have any extra Nihility cones for her, but I didn't even check her E1 lol, but I knew I wouldn't be anywhere near a second pity for Units so I think I made the right call.

So my dilemma is, her light cone and her E1 are both roughly ~25% damage increases, for Black Swan herself. Her E1, though, applies to everybody, and so is a roughly 25% increase in the damage of everyone on her team (whose element lines up with a DoT on the enemy).

If I want either, I *should* just go for E1. But I like collecting the signature light cones. But I also don't have many jades saved and want Sparkle, and Sparkle's light cones is likely going to be busted, whereas Eyes of Prey for Black Swan is perfectly usable.

Yeah, I feel like for DPS you can usually do well enough with normal Light Cones, whereas support dedicated LCs are very often OP and the Sparkle one feels pretty great too

Got Bronya's E1 though, which is sweet, considering I just got her LC recently. Could finally pick Welt of the selector with a peaceful mind.
Will probably see how my funds look when the banner will be nearing it's end to see if I wanna go for her. Kafka is one of my most used characters, so Black Swan would be an amazing addition, but I really look forward to getting decked out Acheron too.

Well I just had my luckiest gacha moment ever. I pulled Black Swan at 81/90 and beat the 50/50 yesterday then today I decided to do a few pulls to try and get my last gunifen dupe and I pulled 4/90 dupe Welt and then immediately next pull was dupe Black Swan making her E1. I'm ready for lightning to strike me down now.
