well shit, looks like Kafka is coming in 1.1. and here I thought I could roll a bit on Seele but uhhhh guess I better start saving now. I don't know if she'll be good or not but from the first "BOOM" (with that ADORABLE "mind-blown" gesture) I fell in love

random thougths:
- love that dashing does not require a stamina meter in this game. like seriously LOVE that.
- simulated universe is super fun and I wish genshin had more content like this.
- auto-battle dailies are *chef's kiss*
- anyone else notice that Mona and Asta, who are both astrologists, both have the same voice actor? kinda neat
- also Natasha = Rosaria. I'm sure there are other voice actor overlaps too. it's really fun listening to the voices and trying to pick out familiar characters
- Sampo has a direct quote from Itto at one point lol

overall I'm still cautious about the gacha but have really started to fall in love with the game. it's just Genshin with a different core gameplay mechanic and a different story/setting, and why would you want anything else? the story, while it does have some jrpg cliches going on, is intriguing and the characters are all unique and well-developed so far. kinda surprised at how much I'm loving the game tbh

Different from what I saw when I googled just now:
1.1 - Loucha and Silver Wolf (and maybe 4* Yukong)
1.2 - Kafka and Blade
1.3 - Fu Xuan and 5* version of Dan Heng (seems this will be like Honkai where characters get multiple versions) - also, don't google him too much if you don't want to spoiler yourself, because I assume the way that model looks is important to his story

I should have expected this would happen when leaks start coming out but now I dunno what to do, lol. I saw saving to pull on Jing Yuan because he's a good chara with great 4*s on his banner, so was mainly looking at utility, but now I'm thinking about who I like in general - I'm kinda leaning towards Silver Wold (and, while I only saw a bit of Yukong, she seemed cool). Kafka and Blade banners will probably sell hard, because these characters have crazy following it seems.

Also, pretty cool to see that they're doing both waifus and husbandos equally for now


One thing I always wished for in Genshin and I'm sad they didn't add here are build presets - especially since you can actually quickly chance MC path in this and the two we have now are both quite useful

nevermind you're right, I misread the leak. I guess I might roll a bit on Seele then... although Tingyun is supposed to be on the next banner so it would be good to have some rolls for that too. then maybe save for Kafka after getting Tingyun

oh shit you're right, that's a unique kit. characters that fundamentally change the rules of the game can be meta-defining. might have to pick her up along the way to Kafka (they're best buds anyway)

I think I will pull on Jing's banner until I get Tingyun, maybe an eidolon or two and then start saving for Silver Wolf. While he's a great character, DPS is more likely to get power creeped faster, while support characters often stay relevant longer, her kit is great like you guys said (unless they nerf her before release, lol) + I do like her look etc more than Jing.

Let the hate go, man. Just the free battle pass gives 9 rolls, and been going on for almost 30 months, which is upwards of 260 free rolls.

Not exactly sure if I should roll for Selee or not. Got E1 Sushang & Tinygun, Himeko, Pella, and Hook in the free rail passes I've gotten. Seele would fill an element gap, Kafka is more lightning and Luocha is a healer, albeit looking like a good one.

I assume this means fire MC is close though, I would assume I'll get her shortly after this, and she's supposed to be really good once you get her eidolons

Even the physical MC has been a strong part of my roster actually, I guess I could replace MC with Asta (especially since almost all my 4 stars from standard banner were her Eidolons), but considering I currently run with Himeko that kinda kills my elemental coverage. I think Pela would be a great addition but I currently don't feel like building her.

Fire MC is quite good and when I use it I switch Himeko with Natasha - my team for clearing SU4-5 was Fire MC, March, Natasha and Dan Heng and going full Remembrance path for Dissociation ownage. That however doesn't work for SU6 boss, so right now it looks like I would need to build Asta and Serval for that.

I could see using phys MC for sure, but I pulled Sushang and there's no going back now. she's such a powerhouse, carrying me alongside Bailu

But yeah, it seems you will need to build MC whether you want to or not, prolly will be required each time you unlock a new path

People are down on Gepard, but he's honestly a Simulated Universe God because of all the shield-related blessings. It's been good so far with him and Welt, and once I get on later today I'll have the last 8 tickets I need to get my 5* character from the discounted banner (took all 50 wishes, oh well). I'll have to add everyone later tonight, I've got Welt set as my support.

Got the ice Hunt character from the discount banner, so my current 5*s are him, Welt, and Gepard. Since I got Gepard off the standard banner and Welt from losing my Seele 50/50, my next 5* will be Seele and then I think that's the last character I'll have for a bit as I believe the next one I get off the standard banner will be a light cone. Was hoping for Bronya or Clara, but at least it wasn't an Eidolon.
