It definitely doesn't look current gen but more DD1 is all I ever wanted so sure why not.

I want to be excited for this game because I loved Dark Arisen, but I also hope this showcase demonstrates that there's more new stuff than we've seen.
I'm gonna be in Japan when it releases but excited to check it out in April.
Bit confused where this story takes place on the timeline. Is it just a reboot?
It's a parallel world is my understanding, so some multiverse shenanigans going on.
The original game already played with that idea considering you're pulling pawns out of alternative realities
Went to check on how my pawn's been all of these years.![]()
Man didn't realize this was coming out this month. How am I supposed to have time to play this with FF7Rebirth happening now, Yakuza 8 on my backlog and Eiyuden coming out in April
Edit; Oh and Unicorn overlord this month too
This year is brutal. I already skipped Yakuza and will probably need a breather before Eiyuden after the Persona and FF grind
Character Creator is available on Steam (and I'm assuming other platforms), let's you design your main character and pawn and transfer them to the main game when it comes out.
Just saw a news story that all of the videos of meat being cooked are actual videos the dev team captured while they cooked slabs of meat. No CGI or prerenders.
Game of the fucking Year.

Review embargo goes down tomorrow I believe
Looks to be reviewing pretty well, with most of the mixed ones docking it for being too similar to the original. After all the dumb shit in Rebirth sounds like its just what the doctor ordered.
looks fire, reviewers that like it seem to fucking love it performance issues aside
From looking at the PC specific reviews it seems like it's massively CPU bound. Which looks like Capcom is "aware" of and will attempt to fix.
Such is the state of gaming, but still gonna be there waiting patiently for 5 PM tomorrow to start playing
It's bonkers to me how this keeps happening with every game these days and everyone just shrugs it off. It's not like it's inevitable, fucking Avatar looks better than any other game on the market and yet runs and scales better than 99% of other recent PC games and has none of these problems. And that game has full path tracing in a open world. The sad part is most games don't even bother getting fixed, Dead space, Callisto Protocol, both Jedi games from respawn, are all still terrible performance wise on PC. At least with this I expect Capcom will fix it but it's so sad to see the state most of these games are in on release and how little attention it gets.
