I am watching a major political party who is in power across all levels of governance not only fail to put up any resistance to a burgeoning right wing authority but also manage to fund institutions like the police while everything else seems to fall over due to political inaction and all motherfuckers like Gred can do is tell us to shut up and vote as if that's not what the fuck we did in 2020.

Because sheep in the Democratic party don't have any answers. They feel morally superior to vote against Republicans and the only way in their minds to do that is to vote Democrat. At the end of the day it's a self-serving right wing party. A "shut up and get in line to vote blue no matter who" is utterly tone-deaf and logically incoherent. Anyone who really believes in these Hillary and Biden candidates is misguided.

Or decide that "in good behavior" (the Constitution's wording that has been interpreted to mean "for life") to not actually mean that and implement term limits or flat remove those who lied during their confirmation hearings from the bench for not being "in good behavior".

One of my favorites was a CNN or whatever interviewing evangelical Trump supporters in one of the Carolinas. I'd say the shitty one, but that be both. At any rate, they asked they asked why they support a man who speaks like that, isn't religious, sins and cheats on his wife with a porn star, etc. The group of middle aged white women said that they recently only learned of the phrase, but "everyone gets a Mulligan." Then they all nodded and said yeah like it was fucking prolific.
Being a Republican goes hand in glove with being a Christian. You don't really stand for anything except your own powerbase and self-interests at the expense of anyone else. All while you excuse wrongdoing and project with empty virtue signaling, hollow beliefs, and platitudinous group slogans. Then again, I could just as easily be describing Democrats or frankly any unaffiliated vocal American posting on Twitter or speaking at a PTO meeting, etc for that matter.

The democrat messaging was way off base though. It wasn't until the second election that "at least he's not Trump" was viable and even then they scraped by thanks to some godly grassroots work that Biden clearly didn't appreciate.

The real problem with the Democrat machine is that when they win they take it as a sign nothing needs to be done because they want to co-govern with the GOP.

The GOP wins because all they need to do is disillusion enough Democrat voters or fudge the laws in the right states so that they win the right amount of electors. Their strategy is synergistically effective because liberal voters are like "yo Biden didn't cancel ALL debt therefore Trump is better".
