Yup. Spicy loves his alternative facts, but also gets mad when you call him the commie version of Trump. It's amazing that he can't recognize how much like him he really is.

Sensationalism around Trump was/is out of control, he's not wrong about that. It's turning into the same thing with DeSantis where it seems every week he's signed some new law that end all life in Florida, yet somehow everyone keeps surviving.
No impact matters except the one that capitalism has on us. Do not be blind sheep when you can be a comrade

The surge in violent white nationalism, unprecedented anti-Semitic attacks, the removal of protections for LGBTQ people across the country, assaults on voting rights and the institutions of Democracy, the deliberate dismantling of Executive agencies and their functions, the reversing of any actions to protect the environment, sowing distrust between the public and the media, the anti-immigrant rhetoric and human rights abuses, the confused and lethargic response to COVID which led to 1,000,000 American deaths, using the platform to sow violent division between citizens, attacking protestors at his speeches, encouraging violence against protestors during a period of nationwide unrest, packing courts with unqualified judges whose edict is solely to assist in the dismantling of Democratic systems and human rights protections, alienating European and Asian allies, abandoning Kurdish allies in Syria, repeatedly choosing to side with Russia on global affairs - this is just stream of consciousness, off the top of my head stuff. Every one of these had a direct negative impact on people. Many of these actions caused people to die. The casual dismissal of people's concerns about living under Trump as "sky is falling" hysteria only demonstrates your lack of either understanding about the affects of action taken by the government or an apathy towards the situation of anyone not yourself.
As for your laughable 1/6 assessment, it's fine to look back now and call it whatever level of pathetic you want, because you've convinced yourself that since it didn't have tanks rolling out it wasn't a big deal. A group of citizens, some of them armed, breaching the Capitol building, successfully fighting back police, and entering with the intention of murdering members of government, including the Vice President, in order to overturn a nationwide democratic election, is one of the most surreal and upsetting moments of the entire Trump Presidency. Not only are you downplaying the terrifying possibilities of what could have happened that day, possibilities that were averted by people inside the Capitol, not by lack of willingness or preparation by those outside, but the short-sighted willful ignorance of what an event like this could spark in the future is honestly gross.
You're a gross dude. Whatever form of government or economy you're pitching, whatever my previous inclinations might have been I now trust it less solely because you're the one hawking it.

yawn except for abandoning the kurds, but also add abandoning afghanistan even tho it didn't come to fruition under him
The thing with DeSantis is that it's being blocked in Federal court for most of his more egregious stuff. He's already fired one DA for saying he wouldn't arrest people for having an abortion if that became illegal, vetoed via line item earmarks in a budget for a group that spoke out against him, threatened to move vaccines to a republican county if local democrat leaders were not nicer to him, and already has his new disney board crying over being out played as they admitted they wanted to have a direct influence on disney media by impacting what they can do at the parks, while DeSantis also threatened to build a jail right next to WDW just for not bowing down and kissing his ring.
DeSantis' anti first amendment rhetoric in itself is scary as he vowed to do the same as president if elected, so people are rightfully scared if the federal government doesn't put him in check.
While we're on the topic, the "oh no the world is ending" reaction is sickeningly disingenuous.
People react to things which will definitely negatively impact them or others, and then get derisively told they're acting like it's Armageddon by people who then turn around and tell other people they're acting that way.
Ex:
Person pointing out legitimate fear based on actual reality: "DeSantis just signed legislation that's going to make it shittier for students in Florida for generations and torpedo their quality of learning, as well as their safety if they're LGBTQ."
Disingenuous Fuck "Kids can still go to school, stop acting like it's the end of the world." (Shouting at other person) "hey look at this guy thinking it's the end of the world!"

I've met plenty of patients just like him and I've learned to just talk right past it. All you can offer is your view and you'll never convince them they're incorrect because they're living in a Dunning-Kruger bubble.

Trying to get ahead of the curve.
Stubbornness is not a political mindset.
Stubbornness is not the same as a political mindset or outright rejection of something. For instance Beans or Melena or Yabby, etc are the sort that would respond along the political lines of "Kim Jong Un made suicide illegal!" Otherwise, I can't even respond to Zealot anymore because not only is it too involved and often obnoxious in ways the others fail to achieve, but because the new status quo forbids it.
All of that is nothing though compared to what your prior statement better conforms to. Which is the inhumanity and disregard that forms the structure of Gred's ideology. Unironically enough though, being the umbrella I get put under instead. More often than not because history has become an open-ended affair. So where is the real stubbornness?
You are stubborn in your thinking and dismissive of others. I'm not judging you for it, but that's an observation worth making.
Don't act like your not responding to me is something new. You have refused since our first interaction, always on the grounds that you hold some information which would take too long to explain and that no one would believe you anyway so you won't bother.

already blocked you. was just asking you to leave me alone, a pretty normal request. you don't have to do anything, it just says a lot that someone asks you to leave them alone and you feel the need to dig in harder rather than just respect their request. I have not commented on anything you've said that doesn't involve me and I simply prefer you do the same. it's not how a forum works, it's just a basic request.
