I think that if Ukraine had gone as planned then Belarus would have been happier with that idea. Just as Crimea was overwhelmingly for joining Russia. Not to say the support for the idea be the same though.
Belarusians are tired of Lukashenko, they are not optimistic with the direction of their country, and they are not happy about what has been done and is happening in Ukraine. There will be renewed unrest if they are sent in to be fodder on the doorstep of Kyiv.

Mais, caused a stir last year when he criticized what he described as years of neglect in the operational readiness of the Bundeswehr, "the army that I have the duty to lead, is more or less bare," he said at the time.
He told the German news agency, dpa, the €100 billion ($107 billion) to speed up the modernization of the armed forces... was not enough.
Since announcing the €100 billion special fund for the Bundeswehr, about €30 billion has been committed to contracts for specific projects, Defense Ministry spokesman Arne Collatz said Wednesday.
