We're not trying to kill Ukraine and bury them in mass graves, the people trying to keep us from killing them are!

Partial mobilization is still going to be an issue. We can make all the arguments about not being able to equip and train the conscripts they already have. However, it's still throwing more resources into the fight and increasing production. After the winter is over that will be an issue. If support isn't maintained to Ukraine then the tables risk turning in attrition.
Excuse me but I was under the strict impression Russia was *done*, good sir
These patriots should be denied entry to Finland and turned around.

On topic though, I continue to not have any earthly idea as to how this is all going to end. I don't see Russia backing down without getting SOMETHING out of this, and I don't see Ukraine agreeing to any loss of their land. My fear is this eventually escalates to the use of tactical nukes, at which point we enter the complete unknown.
imperative to convince Russian leadership that NATO will go to war over any deployment of nuclear weapons. otherwise this solves their manpower shortage but none of the other issues hamstringing their war effort, morale issues and professionalism will worsen if anything with conscripts.
but ya not good, increasingly unstable situation.
Mhm, I can believe it's a fake scene, but I don't believe the Google search data from Russia spiking on the subject of military deferments or escaping the country to be fake. People are looking for escape routes. Same as those of the DPR and LPR trying to flee to Russia. Everyone is trying to escape the dragnet..
Protests in Russia starting again, mostly younger people.

Nations within the Russian orbit continue to realize that closer ties to the West are the future not Russia.

I doubt there are enough people protesting for it to matter.
The literary equivalent of "Please clap."
The salivating of every media outlet and random Twitter poster over the mere thought of "PUTIN IS FINISHED" is so tiresome at this point. It reads as sheer desperation to write ones own truths and demand the world validate them and their desires.
When they are delusional? Yes.
I also wouldn't qualify this as hope given the history of that nation. Not a fan of Putin, but he is acting in the interest of Russia in some regards, and his people seem to understand that. They rightfully are no fans of NATO and the West. They likely understand the vast significance of Ukraine being part/subservient to them. They want a leader they feel is strong. So on and so forth.
That is some shit right there if it is true. Can't imagine this will help the morale or effectiveness of the units.
Lol
Putin has spent 20 years robbing Russia blind. "Acting in their best interest" is I suppose true in that he's attempting to loot the resources of other nations after a generation squandering those of his own country.
