explain what you want sir, if you are going to keep bemoaning everything. what would you replace it with? why would your system be better? why would it work? why is it worth burning everything to the ground? how does it avoid creating a vacuum that will be taken advantage of by other global powers?
you are potentially asking millions to die for the change you want, which would put u more in line with gred than u like
My conversation in this thread has largely focused around the topic of Ukraine for the last untold pages. As I disagree with the lopsided focus of blame around Russia, Putin, and the causes of the war.
My disgust with Greds take of an ideology where he would feel that "the Atlantic Slave Trade, colonialism, atrocities, etc are justified in the name of US hegemonic order" somehow merits more scrutiny on my end. I relented and gave the genre of my desire, and will not be getting deep into it. If you can't accept that then fine, but I have put myself out there more than anyone else here. So you do not get to keep demanding.
russia deserves the majority of blame for it's own actions. while other powers may have helped to facilitate this situations existence no one but russia has any responsibility for the deaths that are happening right now.
yes i do. explain why what you want isn't retarded and won't lead to death and horrors on a large scale or at the very least why it would be on par/slightly better than the current
Death and horror is a part of any path when it comes to struggle. Status quo or otherwise.
Which is precisely how democracy and the liberal international order got to where we are right now. The question is whether or not you have any compelling argument why another period of revolutionary upheaval would lead to progress. I've argued it would do the exact opposite.
Were posting stfu because you're being a piece of shit going "I'm not answering what I want as change because no ones asked me", then after Krandor and Panda specifically asked, you're going "I'm still not answering because it doesnt matter and you dont get to demand an answer from me"
So shut the fuck up.
Fucking white people
It was tongue-in-cheek to say "well, no one asked" because well, no one did, and now it won't end. Not sure what part of "this is not the thread for that, and I am not interested in going down that road anyway" isn't being understood, but it seems like the entirety. Lets move on, it is not happening, and I do not care if that causes any issues on your end as it just isn't relevant. Just recite some dank memes and move on like you do.
This has gone well past the point of intellectual discourse. There's no justification and no need to understand in the moment why Russia is intent on destroying Ukraine. Whether the United States caused this is irrelevant. Russia at any time could choose to deescalate this conflict and they do not. They could choose at any time to handle this diplomatically and they do not.
Their lack of respect for the sovereignty of Ukraine is inexcusable.
If Mexico said "hey there's lots of Mexicans in Texas that want to return to us" it would be equally inexcusable for Mexico to annex parts of Texas and Texas would be justified in retaliating. It would be absurd then for Mexico to claim Texas was a terrorist nation for doing so.
So what would you do differently?
He's fucking trolling. There is no substance to his argument anymore. Claiming that "the situation in Ukraine is mostly the US/EU's fault" while in a thread that, on the same fucking day, posted NUMEROUS tweets about the 75+ fucking missiles launched at CIVILIAN INFRASTRUCTURE such as CHILDREN'S PLAYGROUNDS is not a valid fucking argument. It's trolling. If I did the same thing, I'd be banned. If Nynja did the same thing, he'd be banned. If anyone other than this tankie filth did it, they'd be banned. I'm so sick of him being incapable of shutting the fuck up.
despite what you may believe he isn't trolling
It quite literally does matter. The US helped pushed the country to the brink and has encouraged the Ukrainians to take a hardline stance to this point. Just like it has continually in the past in other places it has fucked up and groups it has fucked over. Why are we placing the blame solely on deescalating a situation the US inflames on Russia? This is their backyard as Ukraine is of a core strategic importance to Russia. That is a fact, and sovereignty doesn't change that fact. The US cares about the sovereignty of Ukraine as much as the Russians do so lets stop whining about that ideal as if it holds no weight in this current situation for either side.
Otherwise, if the US cared about the sovereignty of Ukraine it wouldn't support an uprising later turned coup, they wouldn't support far-right nationalists storming the Rada and installing themselves into the government, they wouldn't be trying to install their puppets into the Ukranian government after the coup, they wouldn't have sent over a billion in arms to the country before the war even started, and so on. The US has asked for this war more than Russia by encouraging Ukraine down this path for eight years.
Where the Ukrainians knew they could ignore the agreed upon terms to the Minsk agreement. Where the Ukranians knew they didn't have to compromise, seek peace, or end the conflict because they have the support of the US.
Fucking bunch of nonsense, and it should be called rather than "boo-hoo Russia." Where no one in this thread believes the Russians did not commit an illegal act of imperial aggression. The difference is they did so over the actions of the US in Ukraine, and not because they just felt like it one day. Actions which are apparently beyond analogy of Mexico because its as simple as the US would have invaded in one form or another if it were Russia too.
You want this war to have never happened? Well, the US needed to stop poking Moscow in the eye for the last decade as it violates its national security interests again and again despite Moscow having done this to Georgia before, warning it would again if pushed to it, and then intentionally pushed there by the US. Russia is wrong, but the US knew it would be and wanted this outcome.
And you also need to understand. This is not saying I appreciated or wanted Ukraine to be in the position it was or now is in. I have said before they are choosing between lose-lose situations.
The "its the US/EU's fault" is being a mouth breathing troglodyte, the "I'm not answering because no ones asked me...I dont have to answer and you dont get to ask me to explain anything" is absolutely bad faith trolling.
