It's a lot
I see the resident military strategists are having an argument. This should be an enlightening conversation.
No one here is a military strategist, but I do care enough about the situation to keep it in perspective. This be like going into a cul-de-sac on the fourth of July while your neighbor sets off a row of the stuff they bought over the state line for 5 minutes, and being impressed at it being "a lot of fireworks". Its just lacking a depth of understanding as to what "a lot" actually entails.
Now, The Highway of Death in Iraq. That is a lot. This video—its barely anything.
Good on the UAF for maybe actually loading a few Grads full. Given how artillery dominated this conflict is. That shit is a drop of a drop in the bucket though. Even for a single barrage it is pretty damn light. That is 40 rockets per boyevaya mashina, and there are a whopping three there—three. Russia is estimated to be lobbing an average of around 20,000 rounds various of artillery per day of the war. So, that launch there is not a lot in the context of a nation in the largest war in Europe since WW2 struggling to have even enough resources to launch these volleys. Its just obnoxious for Archi to keep posting "nuh-ugh, its lots" over basic shit.
It's 36 per
Stupid video starts mid barrage apparently, thats how many rockets were being unleashed in that devastating, nigh-countless volley
weapons are dope
wait is that my tax money flying through the air
Wait, did you sit there counting...?
The Hailstorms are WW2 era type tech from the 60s that launch a volley of shit into a general vicinity. Some real Soviet style shit that is as much about moral and collateral damage as it is being effective offensively. They basically just soften up an area for infantry to follow. Without infantry waiting to attack, they lack any power to change the situation on the field and instead make cool expensive Twitter videos.
They are somewhat outdated in terms of the needs of the modern battlefield which is about precision strikes for effect. They aren't taking out bridges, strongpoints, or ammo dumps. Rather they just blanket an area with little effect besides terrifying mostly unharmed troops in trenches at the cost of millions of dollars in rockets. Then again, with separatist troops in the Donbas using literal WW1 era arms. Anything is being thrown at this war.
sick world
If it makes you feel better it probably killed many Russians, which is historically what U.S. tax dollars are for.

it probably didnt kill a single one
and why would that make me feel better
sick world
Russia so hard up for artillery that they're purchasing more from North Korea.
They also are holding the gas pipeline ransom now. Like, not even pretending about it, just flat out doing it.
