Also, per Elliott, the reason Wright slipped was because his team interviews left a bad taste in the mouths of some teams. Bad attitude, didn't seem to have the will or drive to succeed.

Yeah, when he was asked why he didn't try playing in Europe or something in his draft year to at least stay in somewhat game ready form, it was almost like "Meh, I've already shown I was the choice for #1, nothing left to prove."

Almost as bad as Yakupov's interviews in 2012 "I dunno why I'm even talking to you guys, no chance I slip to ___th overall pick"

Looks like his stint with the Rangers was mediocre as they didn't even reach the playoffs, not that I'm expecting the Sharks to reach them with this lineup.
