Honestly Miller is a guy we should be keeping for around 5 more years. Guys like Boeser, Horvat (slow skating, mediocre defensive) should likely be shipped out for D in this window. 8m is good value if the team has a vision to make moves to compete and fill the roster where holes are (D for God's sake). If they don't have a plan here it will age horribly.
I'm excited to see where this goes and cautiously optimistic !

He's 29, the contract will end when he's 36. Hard to say it will age horribly as that all depends how the cap moves too.
