Kane/Sharks reaching an agreement that'll be basically the Sharks making up the diff between his old deal and new one with the Oilers. Give or take like 900k a year for the next 3 seasons

Sharks and Kane settle for the difference between the last three years of the sharks contract and his new one, and the nhl has applied a retroactive cap penalty over last year.

But still, glad for everyone that it's settled now.

He was fine here in a small sample size and aside from the crazy ex trying to start shit every 2 seconds during the playoffs, no off ice things at all

That's pretty much how it started with us and was just a general decline. Maybe now third time is a charm, especially as he only has a three year deal.

Pretty sure he also knows this is his last chance as teams and players are watching him.

I'm hearing mixed reviews about Milano. Apparently lots of upside skill wise, but also lockerroom cancer. So yeah we'll see how that goes.

From 2017-2020, Virtanen was a pretty serviceable NHL forward. Kind of like Puljujarvi - dumb as rocks, but big and fast and able to drive possession and score ~15 ES goals from middle-6 minutes.

Then COVID happened and he got fat again and then the accusations happened, and he hasn't been remotely useful since.
