When the Oil gave that same ridiculous contract to Koskinen (3x$4.5), he at least was 28 or 29 and had a bunch of experience in the KHL and shit. But fuck, Knight is 21, has 36 NHL games, 11 AHL games and a buncha college hockey under his resume only. That is a shitton of money for a 21 yr old with a half a season's worth of professional hockey experience.

I could see that as a 5-6 year contract based on his expected ceiling and it would be a contract he ages into, and by the last 3 years turns into a steal. They're likely not going to get good value for that on a 3 year contract for a 21 year old goalie with a total 38 games of NHL experience.

Can tell the Refs are as rusty as the players. Zegras gets hit to the head and not only was there no call on the play. Adam Henrique was given an instigator penalty for going after the guy. Can't even remember the last time I saw that called. Last night's game had 27 penalties and almost 100 penalty minutes.
