nah
nah
After that day of trying ff8 again I put it in the trash and played Uncharted 4 instead. I forgot I never got around to it as the game series scares my kids so had to stop playing the series for awhile.
Though they are two totally different genres it was hella a good feeling to a which for shit to gorgeous gameplay.
The remastered version did make the whole junction/draw bullshit a little less tedious by letting you ramp up the battle speed to an insane amount. That's how I finally finished the game, including getting everyone's super weapons, though honestly you just need squall's for the final boss.
Squall can one-shot the Omega Weapon with his limit break if he's got his ultimate weapon.
FFVIII is dumb easy. I remember killing Omega before I even realized he was supposed to be a “super boss.”
I think I probably still get anxiety from the chains of Promathia boss battle music. Promyvion, Mammets, Omega/Ultima left some deep scars on me
I would have been fine with level synced gear but they didn’t have it in the game at the time so you had to keep gear sets for multiple jobs at level 30, 40, 50, 60 which was a total pain in the ass
CoP was super easy. Got thru with a group consisting of pld thf rng nin-or-drg rdm blm
>>spend 90 minutes climbing up promy-vahzl
“Ok lets try the fight out and see how shitty it is then deal with the bcnm tomorrow when were prepared”
>>go 1/1
¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Good times
CoP was definitely peak content
did all that 30 gear that came out specifically for cop even have hq versions
I dont think the shade set did, the empty killer one.
The other 3 sets that came out had hq versions.
Nvm, shade set also had HQ. Their utility was less profound tho as this was the time SE wouldnt divulge all stat gains, just “empty killer”.
Empty Killer could be pretty clutch in Promyvions, it could proc reliably even on bosses.
