Anyway, because it's close I wanted to say something..

Marvel has a chance to do something mind blowing with this movie. If you are a fellow comics person you might know what I mean. I don't know if the MCU only would accept it though. If you do know what I'm talking about DO NOT post it because it would be a major spoiler! I doubt it's gonna happen though. I'll tell you in spoilers if it does though.

Decently fun. The middle dragged a bit and then when the real action started it kinda ended fast ^^;

I liked it.

They had to kinda condense down the idea of who the Sentry is to fit it into a 2 hour window, but they really nailed the vibe for the sake of the non-comic audience who doesn't know the character.

I went to watch! Very good film. Went in 100% unknown. It was everything I expected from a rag tag bunch teaming up but what I wanted (bickering/them taking a shit on each other) was mostly there.

I don't follow any of the comics so I didn't know anything about it in general.

Had a pretty great time. Not the best movie ever or anything, but it was plenty entertaining and moved the overall narrative further for MCU. It went darker than I expected it to and I appreciate that it didn't really hold back on the more mental aspects.

New avengers is just a bunch of super soldier serums yea? lol

Bucky/US Agent/Red Guardian are all super soldier serum based (or Russian knockoff).

They didn't really go too in depth on Sentry but in the comics the base formula of his powers was super soldier serum derived.

Brave New World was fine. Nothing spectacular, but not bad.

Also would've been a bit better if Red Hulk was a surprise.

Blowing the "surprise" in the movie as part of the advertising campaign just kind of ruined it from the get go.

It wasn't awful, it was just... boring.

Loved that, everything that came out of him was so fun/wholesome. I loved the loud/embarassing dad types.

Should Yelena have been able to go toe to toe with US Agent? I know power levels are bullshit, and granted it was only for a moment but I was thinking had it been less confusing (as it got out of hand quickly due to multiple participants) then US Agent should've easily wiped the floor with all of them

It really depends on interpretation of the serum. In the comics the serum is supposed to make someone peak human ability, but not "super-human." Basically like Batman. However we've seen movie Cap perform several feats that are in excess of peak human ability such as holding a helicopter from taking off. I guess it also depends on how accurate the copycat serums are to the original.
