it definitely felt like maybe it was one that existed largely in that state before the reshoots and rewrites when it was overly in Disney+ mode, and they were like "well we can't just waste all this work/money"
that being said, in a vacuum it was whatever, but it definitely didn't work with the flow of the season at all

Episode 5 even undermines 6 a bit. This definitely had to be a holdover from the original episodes.

Episode 6 is his “I need to bring Daredevil back” moment, yet you pretty much already see that last episode when he puts on that make-shift mask and actively goes after that dude dressed as a cop.

So like, there was definitely a scene in episode 6 of Matt just sitting alone in his apartment looking at pictures on his laptop.
