Most of the abstract/cosmic entities in Marvel are at the level of or slightly above that of the gods, but Death in particular is one of 4 (Oblivion, Death, Eternity, Infinity) that sit above the others. Only the Living Tribunal would have authority over them.

They better spend a good twenty minutes of the first part of the movie explaining his background from the Fantastic Four universe. If I had a nitpick about the FF movie it would be that they didn't even talk about him.

Everyone watching this movie is already gonna know who Doctor Doom is, they shouldn't need to spend more than a minute or two giving background detail on him.

I feel similarly about F4, it wouldn't have taken much just to acknowledge he existed other than an empty seat at the world summit thing. Feels odd to not tap the smartest person in any room for their input on an incoming planet devourer, it woulda just given him a nod that he was someone that mattered. Coulda easily been a "Have you tried contacting Victor?" "He said 'Doom cleans up after no man' and hung up."

Given the X-Men MCU reboot, I think our original Fox mutants are toast for real for real, probably with a heroic sacrifice of course but still, they are so dead (exception Deadpool and Hugh Jackman Wolverine because they gonna print money forever and do it until Jackman is 90)

Was watching one of those videos on what you need to be caught up on in the MCU to understand Doomsday and the guy goes “Make sure you watch Daredevil Born Again so you’ll understand the ending where Daredevil absolutely bodies Doom to save the day” and I had a good laugh

They aren't going to be paying 2 sets of X-men going forward. Wolverine not being cast yet makes it obvious our current one will be a main player through at least Secret Wars.

The point is almost everyone is going to die. The question is who will be brought back by Doom?
