The funny part to me is we've literally had terrible garbage in the MCU before to compare it to. No one can say, with a straight face, that Love and Thunder is in the same tier as Eternals or Thor 1 or even something like Iron Man 2 which wasn't garbage but was certainly not good. Or Quantumania which I thought was a pretty fine movie up until the ending completely nuked the entire thing for me.

I thought the premise was neat but the movie just really failed to deliver on it for me. The MCU completely ignoring the events of the movie afterwards also doesn't help.

Love and Thunder was not as weak an entry as Quantumania, and everything the MCU has ever done so far was better than Secret Invasion.

I think Secret Invasion as the worst is a conversation ender. Banter between Fury, Talos, and the MI6 chick were the only highlights.
