No Dune has exclusive rights to IMAX screenings for the first few weeks and they're not backing off from the release date

It doesn't sound like it's IMAX at all. It's just screens that can meet whatever new requirements they made up for InfinityVision that do not qualify as IMAX. It's a way to charge you premium price without offering anything new since they can't charge you IMAX prices.
