First thoughts
-no email validation? I put in a bogus one and it didn't ask me to verify via email or anything
-what does this slider mean lol

Email validation is coming, didn't need it when it was just me and the dev team but I raised it at our last meeting. Along with the age bar needing sliders on both ends. It limits the age range and distance away from your location that you'll see the statuses of other people/advertisers.

Trouble is "Meet Cute" as a phrase inherently ties to romance.
And back in the day, OKC tried to be both a friend and romance finder, and it didn't work, because you'd have a disconnect in the user base's goals.
