I dont know how the committee rationalizes Bama over Tennessee.

Georgia and Michigan are locks, but Bama may be nixed and they keep TCU just to avoid a UM/OSU rematch at 2 vs 3. Because the only other option after that is to put Michigan at 1 and bump UGA to 2 (which is insanity) to have UGA/OSU and UM/TCU.

If UM loses, then some shit really hits the fan. Leave them at #2? Bump all the way down to #4? Promote TCU for losing? Drop TCU and UM in favor of Tennesse AND Bama? Who knows. It's nebulous.

TCU lost in OT at a neutral site because they went for it on fourth instead of kicking a field goal in OT.

Bama lost on a last second field goal at Tennessee and at LSU when LSU went for two instead of kicking a field goal in OT.

OSU got smoked at home.
