But OSU has only the one loss.
But OSU has only the one loss.
If that's the criteria, that's fine, Bama is out and TCU and OSU are in.
The way I see it, TCU should be in, whereas the final slot going to either OSU or Bama depends on which criteria you pick. If you go by losses, TCU and OSU have one, Bama has two, TCU and OSU are in. If you go by strength of schedule, TCU went 5-1 against opponents who were ranked when they played, OSU went 2-1, and Bama went 3-2. TCU is in, you can make an argument either way for OSU or Bama. And if you go by quality of loss(es), TCU's loss was in OT at a neutral site, so it is a debate between whether the way OSU lost outweighs Bama's close losses.
If the previous rankings hold any weight, OSU would be in over Bama since they already ranked above them and neither played a game.
It's really only the question of if the committee drops TCU out of the top for Bama to slide in.
hopefully bama isn't in 'cause fuck bama
https://www.espn.com/college-footbal...otball-playoffGeorgia, Michigan, TCU and Ohio State will play for the national championship after being chosen for the College Football Playoff on Sunday.
I am fine with this. Though some TCU haters and Bama fans are probably losing their shit right now.

i don’t think osu gets past georgia, but osu/michigan championship game has to be a sign of the impending apocalypse
I am shocked TCU stayed in and not ‘Bama. Not because of football logic but just sheer hubris. It’s the right call. A former roommate was a TCU alum and big fan so I’m happy for him.
Michigan and TCU have never played each other in history and it will be 30 years since Georgia and OSU have played so should be fun.

This will be the first CFP that doesn’t have Alabama or Clemson
Scott Satterfield is "leaving" Louisville to take the Cincinnati head coaching job, who Louisville will play in the Fenway Bowl. A game in which both teams will share a sideline.
I don't know who is more distraught over this news, Cincinnati fans or Purdue Fans.
Louisvilles reaction can be summed up in this tweet.

Mike Leach reportedly had a serious medical issue this morning that required him to be life flighted and is currently in ICU. There has not been an official reason given but the local beat writers are describing it as very serious.
This makes it sounds like he has passed
