I honestly like the trade way more for Blazers and Suns than I do the Bucks. They're giving up a massive portion of their rotation with all of that.

i dunno every Milwaukee flameout in the playoffs has stemmed from defenses walling Giannis off from the paint, and Dame-Giannis pick and rolls is gonna shatter that scheme

I think the Bucks' logic is that even if this doesn't get them a title, it convinces Giannis to re-up because it shows a commitment to a championship duo core. And if Dame bails, Giannis was going to bail too, so it would take all the money off the books at once.

I'd assume the Blazers will try to flip Jrue for more assets

Bucks definitely need a solid 2/3 to add to the rotation but having another incredible scoring threat to take pressure off Giannis in the playoffs and hopefully allow him to play a little more D (plus with the new coach) I'm very optimistic.

However it is yet another player along with Lopez and Khris to worry about getting hurt/old.

Change of pace for Ayton, sometimes things just run their course. Suns needed bodies and depth for their insanely top heavy roster and got it.

Ayton was not well liked in the locker room or the organization, so we yeeted talent for depth. imagine asking him to take an even further reduced offensive role was sending up red flags.

real big concern for me is Nurk's knees. however mid and sulky Ayton got in big moments at least the man showed up eh. gotta hope Bol Bol can step up in minutes if asked.

I mean, if the Bucks stay/are healthy, they are #1 in the East right now imo. Philly is imploding, Boston is inconsistent, Miami only has heart (it only gets you so far); the Bucks injuries last season is only reason Heat/Celtics were the ECF matchup.
