CP3 is maybe the most hated player in basketball after like Gobert and the Pellies especially hate us after the chippy first round series last year

but mostly it's the fake tough guy business combined with back to back chokes against Bucks + Mavs. can't say i don't get it. love the boys (besides CP3) but too much peacocking and chest puffing for not winning anything.

i haven't seen the camera angle showing exactly what happened but it wasn't the 'Suns getting bitchy', it was Chris Paul and Jose Alvarado getting into it off camera after the dunk and dragging everyone else in. they've hated each other since last year's playoffs.

also ya, Luka is the best player in basketball rn stats-wise but a .500 team tied with 3 other teams for 7th seed ain't gonna get it done

rn it's prolly Tatum. Giannis/Jokic fatigue is real and best player on the best team goes a long way. and Jayson is prolly the single most complete player in the NBA

Giannis has more points, assists, and boards per game than Tatum despite playing fewer minutes per game, PER is 5 points higher.

Tatum is the best player on the best team but his numbers case isn't great.

the funniest part of that clip is just how shit an endgame play it is even if it worked. it's literally just a pindown screen with an extremely unconvincing Hardaway flare before it to get Luka the ball way beyond the 3 point line with 2 seconds left

the first action worked obv as Kleber gets murdered by an upscreen after Lopez faked a screen up top before diving down for the game winner, but you also have double secondary actions with Middleton curling towards the ball after setting the screen and Jrue darting out of the stack screens to the 3-point line.
