Go Dubs.
Meanwhile after game 1 Phoenix seems completely outmatched, which I'm not sure I was expecting.
Sixers winning in Boston without Embiid was NOT on my bingo card
Ruh roh Celtics

Harden rolling it back to his Houston days with 45 on the team with the best perimeter defense in the league
That was easily the best game I've ever seen Harden play. 45 points on only 4 free throws is wild shit
i think the Suns are perhaps not so outmatched
it helps when you try as hard as the other team
p wild two teams as offensively loaded as this are in a grinding slugmatch rn. physical slow and ugly with defensive intensity dialed up to 100 by both teams taking me back to early/mid-2000s basketball
some of these guys are pretty good at basketball
uh oh
idk how much rubber Chris Paul's wheels got left on em and our bench is pathetic. rn its Durant and Booker doing everything while Ayton gets murdered by Jokic. hopefully home cooking brings some of the guys back around.

Not being brought back under any circumstances is hilarious wording.
Wasn't he also talking mad shit about being a dynasty cause they took the Warriors to 6 games last year? I can see why management would be getting annoyed.
He's a decent defender, but an extreme negative on the offensive end and is constantly talking shit that he can't back up. As Draymond said, "You running around talking about a dynasty? The dynasty starts after you, not with you"
They're definitely trying to put the blame of losing to the Lakers on him though, when the problem lies with the entire team and culture they developed.
you can't talk all that shit and generate that kind of attention and opponent momentum if you can't 100% back it up, dude fell apart, and honestly I dont even hate the guy like most people, he plays super hard and gives that draymond type energy i think teams need, but too much distraction with all that talk. you end up just embarrassing the "brand". i like the grizzlies pretty good, i was pulling for them, honestly feel a little bad for him, like you said i think they trying to scapegoat a little, too many injuries, too many off court distractions, needed some humbling and they got it.
send em to dallas they need a defender
besides the Morant idiocy don't got an issue with the Grizzles culture, young aggressive and swaggy has been the vibe for a lot of younger teams coming up (including the Dubs). they've done work developing a lot of homegrown talent like Ja, Bane, and JJJ together.
otherwise ye Brooks brings Draymond-level shenanigans without being able to pass like Draymond or defend like Draymond. just too much of a circusy headache for what he gives you
Grizzles dealt with a lot of self-inflicted off-court shit, but they also missed Clarke and Adams a ton. that was 19 points and 17 rebounds a game they had to do without against the jumbo Lakers. add in the Lakers being much better than your typical 7th seed, healthy for once, and you got the upset.
im just tired of hearing people joke about ja saying we fine in the west like its the first time a basketball player exuded any amount of self confidence before
Fortunately if you aren't disrespectfully confident nobody will make fun of a surpring first round exit in the playoffs to a low seed
