I don't understand any of that logic from either side. Tobias is a good player who's just being paid way too much which is exactly the kind of players the Suns don't need right now, and picking up Ayton at a similar price to be your backup center does nothing to help the Sixers financials.

Apparently the Mavs also made a play for Ayton which I can't even imagine what they could offer that the Suns would actually want.

Dubs are fucked when Curry is done and it's nice that they're realizing it. The two timelines idea clearly didn't work at all, so ride Steph/Klay/Dray/Wiggins/Looney until Steph calls it a day then proceed to go into a massive tank job. Klay will be due up for a new contract next year, and getting Poole off the books makes it easier to keep the trio locked down.
