GOP have a few good presidential candidates, meanwhile the democratic bullpen consists of a president that'll be in his mid-80s and...I don't know...Gretchen Whitmer?

Excuse me, this is Pritzker and Newsom slander. Whitmer's term would last until 2026 unless she departed early but she is popular as hell and I guarantee you doesn't have a fucking kompromat file about her somewhere in Putin's basement like practically every man politician on Earth apparently.

Gonna laugh if Trump announces he's running before the Georgia runoff and fucks over Herschel Walker as a result.
the cupboard is quite barren, has been since Barry O left. Biden is a fossil with an actively melting brain, Kamala exceptionally unlikable. few Dems have much presence on the national stage at all beyond the intensely polarizing like AOC, or the warriors of yesteryear like Bernie. next best thing will prolly have to come from deeper on the bench. Obam came out of nowhere himself to be the most popular Dem since Kennedy nay
America will never elect a fattie, Pritzker is out, and Newsom does not have national appeal. Whitmer is just a bit boring but maybe.
Whatever happens with this election at least it still looks like Dems will have their popular Salmon Queen. Would never ever imagine a Dem would be elected to the House from Alaska in a midterm.

speaking of Alaska Murkowski and Tshibaka are heading to a ranked choice run-off. seat remains GOP either way but Murkowski is of course one of the most moderate Republican Senators, few were likelier to cross the aisle than her. would be a bad indirect loss for Dems in the years to come if the seat goes to the Trumpie Tshibaka.
I'd assume a very large subset of Dem voters strategically went Murkowski at 2, no? Wouldn't a runoff favor her?
absolutely it ought to, we'll all find out together on the 23rd. Tshibaka is up 2% atm, but the 3rd place Dem got 9% of the vote, 4th place Republican (who endorsed Tshibaka) 3%. gonna be tight but enough Dems ranking Murkowski 2nd out of that 9% ought push her over the finish line.
Not great for Masto. Not a death knell, but not what she wanted. Sissolak is def dead.

This is some furious hateboner edging going on.
Have to wonder where the remaining votes are and who they favor in CO.
Newson is definitely gearing up for a presidential run
I will suck my own dick if Gavin Newsome cracks the top 3. Sticky this.
