Who will be the first psycho that puts FFXI in god tier?!

Idk if I play enough fishing to have a respectable opinion on it but I do enjoy fishing in FFXIV, Ocarina of Time, and Persona 5. Fire Emblem Three Houses has fishing but I wasn’t impressed with it too much.

Ultima Online, Ocarina of Time, and Monster Hunter World are the only games I spent any time fishing anything. And even then I felt like a moron for doing it.

I remember the fishing in XV being really deep and strategic unless you had the DLC lure which broke fishing completely, but was very fun lol

Ambience/Music/Environment
Unessential to the game but with useful rewards should you choose to pursue it
Depth of rod/bait selection and combinations
Can you catch a whale

Breath of Fire 3's fishing was basically "oh yeah, you can also play Super Black Bass while playing this game."

not going to rank ffxi fishing but they did add “endgame” fishing in seekers of adoulin that required you to i believe catch one of every fish in the game, which led you on a quest to catch five “secret” fish in remote areas to get the best endgame rod

the actual fishing system/mechanics were basic but the amount to actually do and the payoff was quite good (if you liked tedious things, but still, i think it was a good overall system)
