Guild Wars 2 has some pretty solid underwater combat. I remembered absolutely loving bamboozling people as Mesmer while underwater.

RE: new deep dungeon, it's nice to be level capped for once, there's some new gimmicks in terms of items but it's pretty much the same. I believe the weapons are reskins of the original allagan weapons but I didn't go compare but that's what they reminded me of

Additionally, there's not even anything worthwhile to purchase with the new currency, unless it's unlocked as you go up the floors (I did up to floor 30). Not even a minion, music scroll, glamour, nothing

There are mounts and minions from the new deep dungeon but I think they are all from appraisals of accursed hoard pieces.

Looks like you get a glowing Tiger mount if you clear 1-100 on four separate occasions.

You can solo spam 1-30 for it, assuming it's from the bronze sack.

One of the funnier theories I've seen is that Manderville is actually another star, and that Godbert/Hildibrand/Julyan are all technically aliens from that world and when they are on Etheirys its kinda like how Superman is just a regular dude on Krypton but on Earth he is super powered.

It's an Easter egg on one of the Sharlayan quests where you're searching a library, but you can find a reference to Julyan being a voidsent that Godbert fell in love with.
