Your summary doesn't include the part where you accused him of abusing "inside info" and directly named him. As you can see from the audit log I deleted the message, but because the message was in a discord forum thread the audit bot does not pick up the deleted message. However, I saw it on my phone at work and it was a clear violation of the clearly posted discord rules. If you had called out any other user directly I would have done the same thing, and I in fact do that all the time.

Also the only people I actively ban are people who like, post gore and say the N word... As long as you don't do that you won't get banned. I just time people out instead.

Posting discord server rules to retort to Celeras's prior claims sure is a choice alright lol.

I can get some people wanting discovery and curiosity, but at the end of the day people are gonna go to discord or a wiki to look up or confirm what they're seeing in a game and complaining that people are doing just that seems silly. Maybe at launch, but the server has been out long enough now that complaining about the complainers is tired; the server and devs have some sincere issues that just might hamper your enjoyment of the game and I don't see a problem discussing it.

I mean, i just posted a couple chopped up parts of it that related to the current discord (lol) -- I don't really see an issue w/ that? esp when there is clearly some mixed signals.

and you say prior claims, when i mean.. he admitted to what he did? and i know full well people read wall of text rules just as much as they read wall of text ToS stuff before games start nothing against Cel tho of course. <3 just seems like a dumb situation all around, and mistakes were def made. it is what it is, and now folks should move on past it!

Edit: and i mean, are we? this isn't a single player game. it's an ancient mmo that takes ages to get through. there's still SO MUCH to discover. regardless, people will still complain if they wanna complain and i'm not against that. i just think you should have to be careful with it and not reference/call out other people for insider knowledge and for cheating especially w/o proof, lol. i think that's wack.

Man, i don’t want to get banned from horizon. I truly am enjoying it, and it sucks to not speak up with that threat, but this isn’t totally the truth.

You banned a few people yesterday, including someone who has a bunch of guides stickies in your discord. And he did neither of the things you listed.



Fwiw, i think the devs/mods are dealing with a lot. HOWEVER, i think it would help to make maybe a subreddit or something.

It is really really hard to keep up on constantly moving discord threads. Especially the way discord is set up.

To you, who is actively moderating it, you see the same stuff over and over. But many people just see the few recent posts and don’t know something has been asked a million times.

It’s not a good platform for this many people.

lmao. he is timed out because I asked everyone not to continue posting drama after I closed a thread and he immediately went into a new thread and continued to post drama.

It's obvious you guys are not super up to date with how discord works but timeout does not equal ban. He can still read the discord, and he'll come back when it expires. Ban means you can't use the server at all or even access it.

The discord is where you can submit gm tickets and such. I’ve had to submit tickets for things like choco refunds and such. Just today I had to submit a ticket because an npcs that isn’t appearing has a scroll I want to buy.

The discord is also where they put all their server notices and updates. It’s pretty well tied to the game tbh.

again, its not like you can't see it, just can't post. and how many tickets have you submitted? i know i submitted one like.. day 2, but other than that most of my issues come from r0ing/black screens lol

These recent bumps started cause of Celeras's anecdote, which was later confirmed by a dev. If management thought that explanation was a personal attack, then idk what this other jazz is about but the main point is/was pretty lulzy.
