Honestly, I'd have been for more Ixion/Sandworm setups during 75-cap era if that's what they did with KB here. Anything to alleviate the tedium of sitting at a King camp with 150 others, 10% of who are using claimbots.
Spoiler: show

You waited just long enough to show you don't care *wink* <3
Kinda bummed. I wrote my first addon for Ashita-v4 and the HorizonXI staff denied it stating that it was too automated. The addon only did the same thing the approved "checker" addon does and report mob lvl, on top of the generic TW, T, VT and def/eva stuff and then sends a party chat and executes an action of the user's choice. /ra /ja or /ma or custom cmd (/exec macro.txt). I offered to change it to remove the action portion, but was told, no. It appears it was telling the party the mob level and the rest that was "too automated". What is too automated about that? It saves "/p LV IT HE/HD" 14 characters. 15 if you include [enter]. The action stuff was just convenience to save a line in your macro. Anyways, it's called partypull and is on github if anyone wants it for retail or another private server.
Edit: Link - https://github.com/bardicrune/partypull
Seems pretty neato, but it does seem a lil automated? I mean, I know when I'm partying, people usually don't report checker stuff even tho it's totally fine for us.
I dunno, tho. Just seems like it's kinda between both sides of 'too automated' -- but maybe down the line they'll accept it!
I don't feel it is any more "automated" than the tparty addon. Most of us remember the days of <job> TP: <tp> spam in pt chat.
BST got the hammer today. Instead of just undo-ing the absurdly OP additions they decided to go further down the road of customization and give jug pets a custom pDIF. Questionable decision but lets see if it works if you care about that sort of thing, I guess?
Naturally, the "wait for gear BST is fine!" crowd are going crazy so the following screenshot was posted to show reasons behind the change. It was deleted by mods within a few minutes, so time for some more Streisand effect.
Perhaps it is being considered as a personal attack towards Fafnir.
I messaged Kip the other day asking about the SA bug cause it was sitting under "Needs Verification" and I just wanted to know if it was ever verified/how could we. To their credit, they responded quickly and said they'd ask the team.
Today I read in the patch notes that the bug was fixed, so I sent them a tell message on Discord saying "Hey it got fixed today, please give the team my thanks" and I got the Discord "This person is only taking tells from their friendslist message".
I mean i get it, fudge that many people bothering you all day, i wanted to say thanks but definitely not in that circus called Horizon chat
Neither am I, its silly how butthurt people get.
Considering some of the information being shared, like:
Moongate Pass Exp camp was “tested” for several hours(with two different groups), Dolls there not using meltdown.
Then magically they began using meltdown again. As if the Monster ID wasn’t correct twice for several hours, twice.
Oh cool, this server has a BG thread.
You need to get some people who actually know the history of the game on your dev team. This Couse thing going on in your Discord is embarassing.
I don't follow the discord much. Whats going on now?
They removed all Couse weapons from the game because "they didn't exist before ToAU". Anyone who played back then knows they did, there's also AH sales history as far back as 2004 for some of them as well as Wayback Machine snapshots from Zam going to 2004 as well with them talking in the comments about it being a new type of polearm and patch notes saying they added them to the game.
Weird hill to die on lol. I think those weapons even go back to the pre-TP nerf days when multihit WSs returned ridiculous amounts? You could literally spam Asuran Fists over and over because it returned over 100% with really slow fists... and when they nerfed that I think I recall Samurais being pissed about their penta-spam. Drgs too I'm sure but loldrg.
Definitely a possibility I am incorrectly merging two different anecdotes with that though, but the weapons for sure go way back.
Most prominent example that comes to mind is probably the KS30 polearm, seeing how that one also was a couse, although I'm not sure how many craftable ones there were at the time, think there was one around level 60 or so? Guess some people may confuse the one Armed Gears dropped with the actual introduction of the weapon type since that one also had a new skin. Not finding anything on the topic on Discord, though.
