He's the only one on their team with any kind of common sense, game knowledge, and sense of fairness.. However.. he's also clearly going to get dragged into and maybe be the fall person for the BS being quietly perpetuated by the server owner and his long-term group of associates. Needing to tilt the odds and "game" a free-to-play, 20-year-old game to be good at it, is just the definition of insanity. And since there's plenty that can't be discussed on their discord, there are plenty of other places where it is.

I'd be more casually into the server cause I'm clearly addicted to the game much to my chagrin, but the heavy censoring on their discord is such a clear red flag that I'm dodging it. Red flags everywhere but people will waste their time doing anything

They're not mutually exclusive concepts and the whole idea of 75 cap servers is probably 80% the latter philosophy anyway, if not more.

Like, I'm completely fine with people thinking SE dropped the ball once uncapping, but this is also where I feel you can take advantage of the entire private sandbox concept and adjust to something more 75-like with all the 99 goodies and content.

Being gimp at previous retails 75 cap era, then making a pserver where you can bend things to your benefit and be not-gimp anymore in this simulation of previous 75 cap vs believing zero-sum limited world spawn NMs being peak content.

Think my current pet peeve with Horizon is just how many NMs drop default gil values. I've killed like 4 NMs who are suppose to drop anywhere from 6k~18k without TH who drop 70 gil and mug for 12, which are seemingly the default values assigned to NMs in Horizon. Mug is already dogshit, but like come on, Vouivre isn't some obscure out of the way NM and that MF is suppose to drop 18k and on Horizon he drops 70.

Reporting every dang NM I come across with incorrect values on their Github. Im not holding my breath on any of them getting fixed but I'm still going to try and contribute a little

People keep complaining about Horizon, yet Eden is there for you. You have a better option, that you can help build up but you don't want to becasue you're lazy.

400-500 and upto 800 at peak, if you want a better experience go there and encourage more to follow with you. At the very least try it.

The options are stay on a shitty server run by shitty people who don't care about what the community wants or a long established server with better content and better people running it.
