Glancing over the season 2 patch notes, they just buffed the ever living shit out of everyone while doubling down on every other move transition into a stance and forced 50/50s

Apparently the increased focus on defense started and ended with reducing chip in heat and letting people sidestep into the foreground out of crouching, cause otherwise they seem to have explicitly given the entire cast new moves to cover their specific weaknesses.

Gonna give it a try first when the servers come up but quite honestly just looking at the patch notes I'mma uninstall this shit, the devs are clearly fucking clueless

They also added alternate inputs for all of Paul's stances because apparently QCF/QCB is too hard, jfc

lol, they gave Clive a long range 20 framer that's +4 on block, chips, and deals 60 on counter hit.

Because what he absolutely needed was safe long range pressure.

Ok yeah after seeing some the clips floating around now and testing a few characters out Bamco has clearly lost their fucking mind with this patch. Basically every single thing the player base has been complaining about they actively made worse.

Less chip damage in heat, but basically everyone has even more moves or mechanics buffed while in heat so it's stronger than before.

They added even more moves that cancel into 50/50 stance mixups, even for characters that traditionally straight up do not play like that (Steve/Lee).

Like this has to be some elaborate April fools joke and the real patch is tomorrow

Holy shit Kran is right. There’s no way that Paul unblockable was looked at and was like “Yup. That’s fine.”

It's actually even worse than that because if you time the cancel out perfectly Paul is +13, which means you can do his wr3 2 which does more damage and also wall splats for a full combo.

Anna has always had an Easter egg where female characters can counter her bitch slap with slaps of their own.

Through either a bug or the power of equality, male characters can now also do it.



Sidenote, an emergency patch is scheduled for the middle of the month I guess, to at least fix the Paul and Jack-8 stuff
