Please God be good.
Well this is certainly an awesome surprise to wake up to!
Oh shit, the souls guy did a thing.
Hell yes.
I'm a little sad it's looking like we're not going to get the aerial gameplay we had in 4/4A back, but it does look pretty awesome so far.
based
Armored Core games were always held by by some janky controls/gameplay imagine From's experience with Souls means those days are dead
Looking like AC3/4's AC designs, AC3's MTs, AC4's giant enemies and AC5's slower speed and weapon variety.
While I'll miss my ultimate high-speed aerial combat of 4A, I'll adjust.
Long have I waited! My patience has been rewarded!
AC fans really out here spending $220 on a plastic garage
I immediately went looking for where to part with my money, I'm just seeing it listed on Bandai Namco's site. I'm not feeling that $220 extra for a garage. The $220 version might get a buy, will need to see more details on how detailed that figure is, 19 cm feels pretty piddly for the cost. Kinda surprised the base game is $60 though, I had reserved myself to most titles being $70 baseline at this point.
Eh, bounced off V for lacking in the aerial department, guess see how this one turns out though.

I can't find it now, may have been on one of the can't-link-here sites, but I recall reading that the producer said there would be no co-op. Huge bummer if so, 3v3 or FFA 6 man battles would be fun, but I'd love to hire in other ravens and have some big brawls with some of the massive enemies they've teased, really play out those cutscenes with 3+ cores.
Most of their FMVs in the past that showed multiple AC working together typically allowed for at least consorts to fight with you, so we'll see. I still doubt they'll have drop-in Co-Op, but as long as the AI is half decent, I'll be fine.
