i went fresh, haven't played since EA started. it is indeed Hades but more, Act 1 is p easy but Scylla's band has bopped me multiple times now.

This is meant to be super complementary...this is just Hades with new content. I love it.

I am on the final dungeon with some Ograne Grotto content left. But the problem is I also have the DLC left.

Same boat. I deliberately put off finishing once I heard about DLC.

I still need to finish Hades 1.

Lol yeah only took me 3 total runs to clear Erebus. I'm sure having played Hades before helped. Can't wait to see more of the levels

I went fresh too. I had assumed there would be more changes and was surprised to see my save was even compatible dated May 2024.

There haven't been any major overhauls of the games systems since they first released it into early access. Some individual weapon aspects have been completely changed up over time tho.

I put 60 hours into early access and no way am I starting over from that, I ain't got that kinda time these days. Did a Chronos/Underworld run and got a new story beat at the end of it, guess I'll have to see how many total runs it will take to start really getting into the true ending.

I started fresh. I had 50 hours in the latest EA patch but said fuck it and will just discover the changes they made as I play. No regrets.

weapons wise will say i don't care much for the first 2 unlocks hitherto, default rules + just got axe tho which is my jam

I've gotten like 100 wins under my belt already from EA but this game just doesn't get old. I look forward to seeing what new stuff they have for me, even if so far it just seems like "an ending and more cosmetics." Works for me!

You right. The axe is amazing.

Ok the fire thing has gotten better depending on the boons you get. Poseidon knocking things away while you spin around is hilarious.
