Well obviously had a head start since it seems like I'm the only person here who didn't start fresh with 1.0, but credits rolled.

Needs about 5 finished runs of both the underworld and overworld each to unlock the conditions for the ending, then an additional run of each to "finish" each path

What the hell is with the ending? "Time is a weird soup" and all that wonkiness, but reformed Chronos was certainly a choice. Not FF16 level blue balling but damn did I want to end him.

Not the kind of game to think about too much, but I found it odd.

I'm up to 12. . . Nmare? difficulty at this point. Still playing slow and having fun leveling everything up.

I am tempted to stop incrementing NMare and just clear the game, but then I will quit and I'm not ready yet!

Fell off this game for a bit playing other stuff but back to it. Finally got a win downstairs on night 31 and made it to the final (?) boss upstairs. Probably could've done it soon if I could've figured out Chronos' one shotting ability in second phase. The light markers are tough to figure out with 2 seconds

Maybe I'm not getting the weapon but I really don't like Aspect of Medea

Aspect of Medea is hands down the strongest weapon in the entire game, especially when leveled up all the way with the massive % damage boost to all attacks and specials.

Spam attack to build up skulls then Omega Special into enemies. Scoop the skulls back up rinse and repeat.

It's basically impossible to make a bad build with Medea, while basically every other weapon or aspect can have subpar choices depending on your boons or familiar you bring.

I've had the most luck with the Moros torches. The Thanatos aspect for the axe is pretty solid too, but I'm pretty much just happy with anything other than Black Coat or the staff.

Circe and the default aspect for staff are really good.

Axe is probably the best overall weapon, everything other than the default aspect is very good. Hidden aspect for the axe is probably the weapon I find the most fun, just smashing everything in sight

Of course, once again talking shit about the fire thing, it was the first one I beat Chronos with and now the first one I beat Typhon with.

Something else funny. I was doing a no Arcana run for the achievement and decided to see how far I'd get. I got a Daedalus boon that made the skulls automatically come back to me at 100% speed and welp I ended up beating Chronos on the no arcana run lol. That shit was so OP

I'd assume they're talking about Poseidon's MP recovery boon, which works insanely well with the slightly start/stop play style of the skull

just started the 2nd one, weapons arent quite grabbing me like the first but think i just need more reps with them

any tips for things to prioritize early on? rocking the lucky tooth atm because I can't dodge for shit, but no clue what upgrades/boons/whatnot I should be seeking out

The initial weapons are a bit of a downgrade for me from the first game but then a lot of the alt forms felt really good and different

I used chaos keepsake a ton. Also icarus and echos. Chaos' buff persists after removing it so start a run with it to get a free chaos boon
