yeah like the axe the most so far. the parry is fucking busted, right? like i accidentally parried a charge from an enemy that i thought shouldn't be possible but after that it's like "whoa, what is this fucking weapon?"

you can even parry those motherfucking wailers and I am here for it

if they are too close then it won't parry, but if they're coming at you and the parry is up their wave will get blocked by it yeah

Had my first win with the staff of all things. Haven't managed a second yet but it did unlock this games version of "heat" and the rewards for it so that's nice. I can thankfully beat redacted pretty consistently now at least.

Feel lile Echo a little bit but I also got my first win using staff last night. 29 minute run.

The aphro boom that restores you to full if you're above a certain hp% every room carried me so hard through the last biome. Entered redacted with 3 death defiance and full health and then didn't use any Dds. His patterns finay clicked for me

Beginning to think the staff aspect that ups the damage of special is the most broken weapon atm. When you max it, every press of special shoots a missile that does 30 damage a hit. Add in Poseidon and it's easy to make that 60. If you get the hammer that doubles the amount of missiles and makes them homing it's now 120 per button press. That's before annnnny other mods. It absolutely melts. I took out the siren sisters in about 30 seconds.

Soooo I did this once and it's not as great as it seems. I had 4k scorch on one of the bosses and basically just running around as it ticked down was not fun. It's great to AoE large groups of trash mobs though.

Is there any boon in the game that let's you deal all scorch damage instantly? That would definitely change things.

There's a hestia Zeus duo with blitz and scorch that does, I think.

The only thing i'm seeing is Hestia's legendary which doubles the rate. I had the hestia/demeter duo boon to get absurd stack sizes as it doubles the number when you freeze enemies, but doesn't make the number tick down faster. Looks like the zeus one just lets blitz also inflict scorch.

yeah, one that once it goes over 300 it removes itself and deals % based, ranging from 50% to 75% i think

Ugh, I had a good starter run last night. Had the epic fire spell that did 85dmg a tick when an opponent stood in the field, and got ability and spell backwards and overwrote it with Aphrodite's ability that did significantly less damage.

literally thought that was the end of the fight and i was meant to take that hit and start over, and progress some other shit in the story before coming back, lmaoooo
