The only thing i'm seeing is Hestia's legendary which doubles the rate. I had the hestia/demeter duo boon to get absurd stack sizes as it doubles the number when you freeze enemies, but doesn't make the number tick down faster. Looks like the zeus one just lets blitz also inflict scorch.

haven't seen this boon yet, sounds nuts. the one duo boon i have seen with hestia has been with poseidon, where they make steam. completely SMOKED (steamed?!) the boss, without even trying

Saw someone on reddit say it has a small chance to bug and hit you anyway but I haven't experienced that yet.

Just starting out and when I got to the Biome 2 boss for the first time, I went 2>3>4 in that one run. Had the Eris debuff which really makes it seem like you're supposed to lose cos its pretty brutal. Thought I got Chronos down with it anyway but was phase 2'd and died halfway (that move he opens with P2 insta killed me as I didn't know what to do and wasted by cheat death).

Now getting all this stuff from Hermes about going to the surface.. as a means to further buff up for Chronos? Would have really liked to see what happens if you get him down before all that. So close!

Welp, cleared a few times now and started a new save to clear on Night 3 (to get rid of the first time debuffs from 1/2). Annnnnd absolutely nothing special happens lol.

Maybe because EA because I'm fairly sure the first game had some tidbits.

Seem to have a good handle on Chronos now. Amazing how once it clicks the fight just works.

What the heck am I supposed to do with fish? Just sell to broker for bones?

I don't remember where it tells you but yeah, the fish are for selling for bones. It seems like it may be one of the better ways to grind for Nightmares unless you want to run high "heat" or whatever it's called now.

Also, familiars are amazing. Using the frog to block Hecatate's morph ball is *chefs kiss*

You probably have already talked to the other one just didn't know where it went. Look around all the piers in the second biome up top before you actually 'start the sequence.'

also patch did a nice thing and showed me that i could unlock the meter for arcana cards lol

game gets a lot easier with more than 10 points to use

Finally got to play for a bit.. consistently reaching the sirens now and beginning to unlock things.

How do you dodge Hecatate's polymorph when she goes into phase 3? Have never been able to dodge it.

This 5 star great axe trial is killing me. 25 hp max to clear all of Oceanus. Made it to Scylla twice but lose on phase 2 of the fight

This game is amazing. My buddy was here all week hanging out with me and we decided to check it out since we both platnum'd it on PC.

The amount of content in this game grows by the run and I would say there's more available than the first game had at full release. Double the amount of levels, more main hub stuff, everything. And there's even more coming? I have 22 hours on it and I feel like I should wait for full release at this point, but I'm too addicted.

Some of the builds you can get are absolutely broken with the moon blessings. It's so much damn fun. My favorite weapons are the axe and the daggers. They're powerhouses.

My friend and I theorized since the boss of the game is literally time, Hecates is actually an older Melinoe. Look at the outfit. The gloved claw, the sigils,the same color eye on the same side, the fact that in the tome it says "You wish you could be her" or something to that effect. Melinoe failed at killing Cronos so many times she aged or got sent back through time and is training her younger self. Tis only a theory, but it damn if there's not a lot of writing on the wall

been doing testaments pretty much most of the day. just barely beat the boss with my last 5 hp for the axe fear 20 testament lol. funny thing was i paused the game at start of phase 2 just so i could take a beat, and he's like "go fuck yourself" and the game unpaused. jesus christ

Cleared it after way too many tries. Won with 2hp. Had a death grip on the controller
