yeah usually the coin boss elite mega fucks me up, but it feels like every mob on that floor's just obnoxious, so i'm probably skipping like 70% of the boon rooms since i've typically got what i've needed to win the run
on maraca f12 right now. not even sure how this weapon is possible if you're using the attack as your primary vs the special. doing full testament clear with this one feels like it might be dicier, though, since i've been abusing the no mana/prime mana debuffs for the other on es, and the omega special on this weapon is somewhat useful.
Saw someone post that you can use your special and dash while using the maracas bass attack. I haven't tried it myself, but that might make them half decent
Oh yeah base. Stupid auto correct.
Fuck trial of haste. Way too much rng involved for the time limit
For the maracas I have a decent time holding down the regular attack button then just pressing my thumb down to dash all over. With aspect of Eos you can basically just pivot around things and crank out some dps.
Any strategy for the sirens? To me they are the hardest boss. I just take so much stupid damage from them.
Did get to Chronus for the first time though. If I had a death defiance up, I probably could have one shot him, but I got stupid on Cerberus.

you can try to draw jetty away from scylla and roxy and pound her until she falls, then take out roxy and scylla, repeat in phase 2. basically they're all really annoying to deal with all in same vicinity but because jetty moves quickly all around the map, you can isolate her in a far-ish away corner or so. then with roxy you just smack her ASAP since she can't go anywhere and after that it's more or less dodging scylla's single swing.
also of significance, depending on the featured siren they will of course do different moves. as you do the fight more you'll be able to pick up who's doing what, but the strategy can still be the same, it's just about dodging somewhat differently.
in the final 5% scylla hp you can then square up with scylla and keep your cast up around you so the little fishy dudes can't enter your circle and hit you.
actually good to know, i was never sure what would happen if i had to quit a game in middle of a run for whatever reason lol
Yeah, thought I was going to lose my shit.when she stepped on the switch lol.Spoiler: show
Also of note; if you force shut the game down from control panel, it apparently does not save your progress. I was in the final room before final boss and ran into some kind of bug (which was reported, don't know what caused it could not end/save/etc the run) so I shut the game down. It did not save my progress. Would have won too. It was an amazing run I had going. Oh well. Hopefully my bug prevents others from encountering it.
I must have gotten lucky that it was a safe room I walked in, which triggered a save.
Fuck. Finally got to second phase of chronos.
Had no death defiance or health left, so didn't get to see much.

Nice man. He is really a step up in difficulty from the rest kd the bosses. Feels really good once the fight clicks and you can beat him consistently
i still haven't figured out how to dodge allll his moves but at some point you do enough that you can take some form of a beating and win.
keep at it and good luck!
btw did anyone else struggle with the trial of haste? took me maybe like 20+ tries and i finally beat it with 3.8s left lol
I gave up on trial of haste. Felt like I needed good rng to win and I just wasn't getting it. Walked away frustrated and haven't gone back for more
yeah pretty much exactly what i felt like, can't win without rng
