Yes. It's a scene where if it was placed halfway into the Lightfall campaign, it would have cleared up a lot of confusion about what the Veil is and it's purpose. Still wouldn't explain what Calus was doing, but this was needed for the rest.

I presumed they were going to fold it into seasonal stuff. As for Calus, nothing of importance aside from being a stooge and not knowing it.
