to my knowledge they already came up with contingency plans if covid made it so certain games had to be cancelled, so a lot of this is probably accounted for in a letter of understanding in their cba somewhere

Bills held walkthroughs today, I think it's safe to assume the Patriots are about to lose by 100.

Big congrats to Pittsburgh for getting to the playoffs in the most unlikliest fashion.

Buffalo could put out 9 players on defense and New England would still struggle to score 14 on offense. Their offense only put 10 on Miami's practice squad secondary before Miami literally left a guy completely uncovered on the line for the easiest touchdown toss in Mac Jones career.

i havent had a chance to read the article yet, but the NFL said it didn't do the 5 mins to warm up thing.

ESPN is sticking by its reporting and saying that they did

someone who works for the nfl may have told the broadcast team one thing, meanwhile everyone on and off the field talking to the coaches and making the actual plans of how to move forward may have said no such thing

both things can be simultaneously true

even lisa salters, who was down on the field, only has a certain amount of access. she can talk to people only after she's been told she's allowed to talk to them. in an emergency situation the broadcast team is receiving information from secondary and tertiary sources.

for us it's even further removed. we only receive information from the broadcast

Goodell or some high-level front office employee def didn’t call down and say “soon as he is off the field, hike it in 5 minutes.” If you believe that, you’re stupid af.

Most likely there is process and procedure in place anytime the cart/ambulance has to come out and the refs or league official gives the teams a 5 minute window if it seems necessary (or it’s always some set amount of time like this and we don’t usually notice cuz of commercial break etc.)

No, I insist we follow Reddit and its investigative conclusion that the NFL doesn't care about its players.

i understand hester is the best return specialist of all time but his overall numbers outside of “most return touchdowns” are still pretty bleh (less than 40 career tds overall, yardage numbers are meh even looking at special teams, yes i know teams avoided kicking to him)

    whatever
