so my hope is in aggregate, but for particularly trump, that their racism will start fully bleeding through in more obvious ways - to the point it begins to really turn off enough people that might have otherwise voted for him
but also at the same time mobilize people of color who otherwise wouldn't have voted, if not for the blatant racism coming through from the republican side
i dunno if that'll actually be the case? but i'd like to hope so
I have a bunch of coworkers who are convinced the man is not a racist. They told me today they've done the research.
God spoke to them and told them that Trump is chosen by divine right. Just like Gaius.
She's already being called out for "DEI", which of course is Republicanspeak for "non-white, non-male".
I know we are off to the races with Kamala, but it is worth dwelling on how intensely unusual and honorable Biden's decision was.
Biden spent half his long life trying to be president and chose to step aside after winning enough delegates to be the nominee. How much you credit to Biden's honor vs. the political reality that he looked like a sure loser and donors were starting to withhold funds is up to you, but his decision to put our interests over his personal interest is still respectable.
Hats off, Uncle Joe. Ice cream is on me if I ever run into you in Rehoboth again.
Joe deserves respect for this for sure
after RBG shat the bed and Feinstein continued during decomposition, i wasn't sure if he could do it
Pretty good contract to Trump and the GOP lol
Part of the reason they were caught so flat footed is none of them could ever imagine giving up power
Ironically might've had 2 terms ending this year if he hadn't stepped aside
I've said charismatic moderate white guy is the way to go in 2016 before I said it in 2020.

I'd say it's between Kelly and Shapiro
It sounds like to replace Kelly would be a special election though so that sounds risky as hell
I heard Kelly, Shapiro, Pritzker as the main ones to light up the scene. They're all well-liked.
Because Kelly on the ticket is a vote getter that would elevate other down-ticket races. JD Vance is a feckless finance bro who wrote a whole ass book about how much he hates poor people. Kelly is a combat veteran fighter pilot, scientist, astronaut. That's the contrast in candidates that gets people to look at the ballot box and think "who do I want more if one of these people die," like I personally did in 2008.
