Sigh, I can't disagree with a lot of these points. It's not that I want Biden on the ticket, it's that I just want Trump to not gain power and I'm not sure replacing Biden this late is the best way forward. These attacks are nonstop though, that does matter, and it's driving me up a wall that every criticism lobbed at Biden is worse for Trump but no one bats an eye at it. Don't talk to me about needing a teleprompter to stay on track or sounding incoherent! You have to remember most of the people freaking out have forgotten the same happened to others when Hillary was nominated instead of Bernie. Humanity doesn't change, dude. Circumstances do. Tech does. Basic human nature is to go into survival mode, so that's what most basic people are going to do in this situation.

In the grand scheme of it all people don't care that Trump is a fucking idiot who wants to tear the country down. The fear of losing is taking over and people are desperate to win, what else do we expect?

Rational people don't decide elections, but irrational people definitely result in bad outcomes. This is why "Dems fall in love, Repubs fall in line" is a thing. One side is motivated by winning. The other is motivated by "not losing".

Y'all are freaking the fuck out about losing but it will happen whether we want it to or not, whether we change candidates or not, if there isn't a common goal united under. This is why conservatives win again and again and again.

Yes, they're absolutely willing to run a fucking rapist bag of shit who wants to walk back all your rights because it gets him into power and that's all he cares about, which is a huge win for the actual villains running shit into the ground right now.

And everyone's biggest concern is whether the incumbent opponent "looks bad in public". If this is the path forward and the candidate is Biden, it's absolutely foolish to sit this shit out. Protest voting is exactly why we're here and no amount of excuse making will ever change that bullshit.

These parties do NOT change when you refuse to vote but one of them sure does revel in watching their agenda get pushed through because the other can't coalesce around a strategy.

This is what I hate. From everything I have read, seen, etc. Biden seems like a decent man. I started to do a really deep dive about his life and political career when he became VP. I like to know everything I can about my elected leaders. I think he has done a really great job as President (or as best he could in some circumstances, you know what I mean) but now all you hear is he was a weak President, he couldn't control the border, or even that he is a criminal.

All the absolute vitriol from the Republicans should prove to anyone that he has done a good job.

4. That members in safe seats in non-swing states have a good handle on what Biden needs to do to win
