I enjoy it as a show. But the connotation and meaning behind the show feels way different knowing one of its creators and voice actors has these accusations against him. It hits a little bit to real now.

wasn't it ordered earlier than that? I thought it was around season 3, and that the 70 would bring it to 100 episodes. either way that's still like 40 undelivered. I just don't know that it's feasible to continue without him, at best you'd get a 'gas leak season' like Community that doesn't really please anyone.

Yeah the order came in at the end of Season 3. I’ve heard many people say just either recast or AI deepfake his voice but for Rick but he’d still get paid. As far as the contract goes, I’m sure Adult Swims lawyers put in some morality clause (seems like you have to have that these days) so they can get rid of him if necessary.

Yeah. Not even counting all the sex humor involving two underage characters I can think of multiple instances where they were involved with older people.

I wouldn't worry too much about replacing the actor(s). The purists will bitch and I imagine "the writing went downhill" no matter what. Ultimately, it's a matter of escape clauses or just buying out the contract if they don't want to.
