My christian high school does a missions trip senior year to the Czech Republic and I remember me and a couple other students were in a train compartment with a stranger who pulled out what I can only assume was the foreign equivalent of a playboy and just started nonchalantly flipping through it and we were split between trying not to laugh, trying to peek, and worrying about what if a chaperone came in and saw it, lmao.

Tate, who has denied wrongdoing in the criminal cases against him, is wanted in England on 42 charges, including rape, assault occasioning actual bodily harm, human trafficking, controlling prostitution for gain, distributing and making indecent images of a child, and possessing extreme pornography, according to a statement from Detective Constable Lee-Anne Marshall of Bedfordshire Police’s Major Crime Unit.

In January 2015, the girl allegedly told Tate that her parents had discovered her webcam work, believed Tate was using her as a prostitute, and that her father wanted her to return home.

“Well then we have a problem legally Ur not old enough to do this,” Tate allegedly replied.

“He needs to agree for u to stay or he can cause issues,” Tate continued, according to messages recovered from his phone. He then allegedly discussed concealing the situation from her father.

Five months later, investigators say Tate circulated sexual images and video of the girl in a WhatsApp group while discussing the money she generated through webcam performances.

According to the filing, Tate told the group that one customer offered $1,000 a day if the girl learned to perform a particular explicit sex act. Tate allegedly wrote that he “told her she had to do it” and then shared a video of the girl performing the act.

One woman, identified as Complainant 2, told police Tate came to her home in early 2015 and put his arm around her neck before demanding that she remove her trousers. She told investigators she believed he was going to kill her.

According to her account, Tate continued squeezing her neck as he vaginally raped her. When her sister called during the alleged attack, she said Tate kicked her ringing phone across the room.

She eventually lost consciousness. When she came to, the woman told investigators, Tate’s tears were falling onto her face.

“I love you,” she recalled him saying. “That’s why I am raping you because I love you.”

Another woman, identified as Complainant 3, alleges Tate raped and assaulted her in late 2015 after coming to her apartment to discuss becoming a webcam performer.

The woman initially consented to sex, according to the police account, but says Tate then put both hands around her neck and began choking her. She struggled to breathe, attempted to remove his hands and believes she told him to stop and that he was hurting her.

Tate allegedly continued until he ejaculated.

Some of the oldest allegations in the case come from a woman identified as Complainant 7, who alleges Tate repeatedly raped and strangled her during a relationship more than a decade ago.

The woman told investigators that during sex at Tate’s apartment in Luton, England, he would choke her until she became unconscious and then continue having intercourse with her. She said she would sometimes convulse after being strangled and regain consciousness to find Tate still penetrating her.

She estimated it happened four or five times beginning in November 2011.

Investigators also say Tate possessed four pieces of extreme pornography.

Two allegedly depicted sexual intercourse between people and live animals — one involving an eel and another involving a horse.

Two others allegedly showed acts that caused or were likely to cause serious genital injuries, according to police descriptions in the filing.

The UK has 42 charges against the brothers. But the US declined to bring up the child exploitation charges when presenting the extradition to the US courts.
