Irsay is one of those dudes who doesn’t go back on what he says though. So he will likely be on the roster all year where he plays, sits, or pretend to be injured. Love it, fuck the Colts.

Taylor has made $6.3m career earnings so far. Let's say they decide to squat on his rights, not trade him, and he decides to sit the whole season out... not only would he not make the $4.3m he's currently set to make this year but he'd also be fined around 3m after all the practices and games he'd be missing for the season.

Back when Zeke was a rookie, rookies could hold out and it wouldn't affect their wallets so Zeke held all the leverage. Those rules don't exist anymore. Taylor has absolutely no leverage to demand a trade. He doesn't have the money to eat all the fines if they call his bluff.

Worthless in pass protection, not that good at pass catching, and has been a major workhorse through college and his time in Indy so the clock is likely already running out.

almost 1k rushing attempts in college definitely devalues his future. most college rbs get a max of 600.
guy will hit 2k career attempts (college and nfl) in 2 years, which is the danger zone

for reference zeke and henry are at 2.4k career attempts (college and nfl)
