Zero excuses next season though. You’re no longer on a rookie contract on a shitty roster. You’re gonna be paid to be an excellent QB.
If that’s not the case after two years than the Giants wash their hands of him and move on.
I honestly think at the worst he can be league average as a QB if he gets some sort of wide receiver squad that doesn't look like the backups of an XFL roster.
all those teams are out on lamar cuz they probably dont want to pay 2 1sts
I think most teams would gladly trade 2 firsts for a ring. That said, I doubt Lamar is going to get someone a ring.
Hoes stunted on stay mad.

if the ravens end up with the firsts, lamar already got a deal done with another team. thats how they'd end up with the picks
Dolphins couldn't pursue a deal for Jackson even if they wanted to. They don't have the picks compensation. Any team without a 2023 and 2024 1st can't do a deal.
I've been right on here since day 1 on Lamar. That type of play is not sustainable in the NFL. You can rock with it until D's get tape on your scheme and your body starts taking wear and tear. He hasn't come close to finishing the last 2 seasons, isn't accurate, is trash in the playoffs, doesn't go through reads, and isn't worth CLOSE to what he wants.
The greatest piece of NFL film to date. Absolute trash:
Same question for Daniel Jones actually - if you're paying him 40M+ a year does the coaching staff allow him to run half as much as he has?
And if not...well...he's not good anymore.
lol that lamar clip is brutal to watch
lamar has been vastly more successful in the nfl than deshaun. its why he thinks he's worth $230m guaranteed
the problem is the nfl is treating that contract like it was a mistake. since that contract came out kyler & russ have gotten $160m & $165m
the nfl are 100% colluding regarding the deshaun contract, but lamar wants it
if he had an agent that wasn't his mom maybe he could be talked out of it. i'm also sure the nflpla is pushing him to go for it as well, so there's that
it's a rough place to be
That clip hurt
Before Deshaun had all his issues and time off, he was a vastly better QB than Lamar. I had him in my top 3-4 in the league. Watson was insanely good.
Watson was also up like 24-0(?) against the Chiefs on way to the AFC championship. Cannot help the Texans D blew it. Lamar hasn't done shit.
deshaun has a 31-28 career regular season record and is 1-2 in the playoffs
his best statistical year he went 4-12
if lamar has done shit, deshaun has done even less
