Deep down we all knew this was coming after the game.

my only issue with the play is i dont understand why you can you push a player but not pull them. seems weird
but in general, it's football, pushing masses around is kinda the point of this thing
A normal "& inches" QB sneak already has like a 90+% success rate.
This play made "& a long yard - 2 yards" a 90+% success rate.
I've seen multiple articles just on this play formation, before the playoffs started, and they argued how it was against the spirit of the game and essentially eliminated the 3rd-4th and 1-2 running back option. I have to agree with this take and its def in the best interest of the NFL to eliminate it.
im fine with it but you see offensive linemen shoving running backs and wide receivers down the field when they get piled up. gonna have to eliminate them too
maybe they make it so its only illegal before the line of scrimmage or something
idk. it has the potential to get messy
Can probably word it as some kind of illegal contact rule at the line of scrimmage with the QB? Toss your RB3 in there if you wanna run the play.
Idk.
They can probably do something to make it illegal formation and also extra illegal to have >1 person pushing the QB or something. Could result in the rise of the fullback once again.
Any OC calling a running back up the gut over this QB sneak though is completely trolling and this is overall bad for the game.

This will be one show not to miss. ^^;

and those teams didn’t have the success rate the eagles had
it’s not like the eagles ran this play on fourth and 2 or longer and just pushed down the field, it was always fourth and 1 or shorter
also, i would love to see the broncos do this with russwils, he ain’t about that life. your qb still gets hit on these plays
Of course not, they just randomly injected it into their game mid-season...
If legal in 2023, every team in the league will practice it from camp day 1.
maybe those teams should try being better at football
also i feel kinda bad for bienemy
he needs to take an oc job where he “calls plays” in order to eventually get a hc gig
the only job that seems to want him as oc is washington, who already announced they’re rolling with howell next year as their starting qb
sucks
(they do have decent skill position players though, so if he can get that offense to work maybe he’ll be fine)
Hopefully he just crashes and burns quickly so we never have to read this off-season story-line again. Literally over half the league has interviewed him for HC at this point and all concluded he ain't it. Enough of the nonsense. At least the usual racist approach is dead because so many POC HC hires have occurred recently.
