Yep, metrics are just a piece of the puzzle, they're not the only piece, or even necessarily the biggest/most important piece; you gotta include context and other variables in your analyses of a QB.

as far as im concerned he loses possession of the ball before crossing the goal line, he repossesses the ball but he is never in bounds with possession again (his feet touch the pylon but he’s in the air so he hasn’t re-established himself in play recovering the fumble)

In my opinion, I don't think possession is lost to any extent that the ball crossing the plane would be negated.

so the refs fucked something up regardless what you think happened

the ref calls it a touchback in the video so it was giants ball at the 20, it was the end of the half though so it didn’t matter. the onside kick later was the start of the next half

Cept I also hope my team somehow ends up with CJ Stroud (not happening) lol. Call it as I see it. Desaun Watson was fantastic on the field in all QB categories. Lamar Jackson is fucking ass at many. Apparently NFL teams agree with me, since several lined up to toss their firstborn at Watson and not a single team gives a fuck about pursuing Lamar. Bro can't even get a text back.
