NFL is basically the only thing keeping TV in the US alive.
Everything else keeps getting worse viewership numbers year over year but NFL just keeps going up

NBA is actually very likely about to pull some crazy numbers with the Dubs/Lakers series though. Dubs against the Kings was the highest rated first round series in over a decade. Add Lebron and the Lakers into the mix and the fact they haven't met in the postseason since 1991, and it's likely to do gangbusters.

The "up to" means a lot of that is probably tied to performance.
